Coach Booth is in his 5th year at Yukon High School, where he as been the Head Freshman coach along with being Varsity Assistant. He has a deep passion for the game, and a love of teaching. He wants his players to understand the whys, as much as the hows of the game. Coach Booth is a graduate of Elk City High School where he helped lead the Elks to the State Tournament his senior year. From there he want on to Southwestern Oklahoma State University, where he pitched for 5 seasons. He also played during the summers in the Red River League, where he was able to play in the NBC World Series. After graduation, he went and became Head Freshman/Varsity Assistant at Duncanville High School down in Texas. After 5 years he took the Head Baseball job at Watonga High School making it to 2 regional championships, and being named Region 3 Coach of the Year in 2010. After a 10 year break of working for Halliburton, Coach Booth got back into the game in 2020, accepting his current position at Yukon High School. He has 2 daughters, Madelyn (22, at Southern Nazarene University) and Ella (19, at Oklahoma State University)
