Weston Ward is currently an Assistant Coach at Deer Creek High School in his 3rd year. They have 1 appearance in the state tournament. He was coaching at Perry High School for 3 seasons before DCHS as the Head Coach for his alma mater. Perry held a 46-35 record in that time. 10 athletes from those PHS teams have went on to play collegiate baseball. Ward started his high school coaching career at Midwest City High School in 2018. He is entering his 7th season coaching high school baseball this upcoming spring.

He graduated from Southwestern College in Winfield, KS with a bachelor’s degree in psychology. He was an Academic All-American at Randall University in 2016. After transferring to Southwestern for the 2017-2018 season, he became a KCAC Scholar Athlete. Ward also played at NOC-Enid in 2014.

Coach Ward dedicates himself to remaining a student of the game for as long as he’s involved in the sport. He is thankful for the opportunity to coach young student-athletes and help them find the best ways to continue to improve their games.
